HE stands for both Health Education and Home Economics

Today, we learned about personal safety in the kitchen. There are some rules that we will have to follow in the kitchen in order to be safe, especially during home economics lesson as it may end the teacher into trouble. Our teacher told us a few horrible stories about using the oven which happened to two different girls, one fainted and the other got burnt. From these two stories, we can see that we must be very careful when using the oven as it works using gases that are highly explosive. Mrs. Tan (home econs teacher) explained that if there is a case of an explosion, there are three doors that can we can evacuate from. She also said that the kitchen is not located at an ideal place, first of all, it is on the third level and this means that there is no way of jumping down the building or you will die even faster but not cooked. The second thing is that it is located beside the science labs where all the chemicals are located, of course the chemicals can be highly explosive too although all of them are diluted. Therefore, if there is a real explosion, it will like adding fuel to the fire to spread the fire.

Therefore, we must really observe rules in the kitchen, especially the one in school, where the teachers can be held responsible.

A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant rings make way for other toys.
One gray night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And PUFF that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.

His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain,
PUFF no longer went to play along the cherry lane.

Without his life-long friend, PUFF could not be brave,
So PUFF that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave.
